The Children's Play Information Service (CPIS) is a specialist information resource providing information on many aspects of children's play, focusing on school-age children. CPIS is funded by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) and forms part of NCB's Library and Information Service.

is aimed at Key Stage 1 pupils, aged 5 - 7 years, and covers the main
areas of personal, social and health education (PSHE) and citizenship
set out in the National Curriculum, the framework for PSHE and citizenship
